Any recommendations for camping near RSPB Arne, Dorset?

We’re looking to have a few days at RSPB Arne and surroundings mid March. I can see there are a couple of CAMC sites within about 30 minutes, but wondered if there are better places, closer, or attached to a pub etc?

You could check out Burnbake camping site, they have some ehu near the main reception area. I think they open at Easter.

Thanks - good to know for the future. For the trip we’re planning in March it looks like the CAMC Hunters Moon site near Wareham is the only one open for our dates, unless we can find a pub that allows stopovers.

We stayed at the New Inn a couple of years ago (Church Knowle). It was OK. There is a camping field behind the pub for which there is a charge.
