Hi all,
We're looking to do a two family/two Cali trip from St Malo in early April next year and would love suggestions on interesting sites to stay at. Our range is probably around 1,200km max from St Malo as it's only a 11 day trip and we're keen to stay in one place for the majority of that time so the kids can get settled and the adults don't need to take down/set up every other day...
Currently looking at north of Girona, south of France or NW Italy, but could easily be persuaded to head further north if the weather plays ball. Given the time of year, it would be ideal to find a site with substantial indoor area (cafe/restaurant / play rooms), similar to Le Colombier which had quite a few indoor spaces across the site but about 1,000km further south!
We've stayed at some cracking city camp sites (like Charlottenlund Fort in Copenhagen) before and would also love to find something similar for this trip to stay at on the way there/back.
All suggestions gratefully received.
