At Beardy Folk Festival, Hopton Court, Shropshire. Arrived tea time Friday and spaces left were tight so no room to attach the driveaway. Woke up to the results of the dog having diarrhoea in the night (hence the clothesline between 2 poles). We sleep upstairs, he’s down on the passenger seat that’s well covered thank goodness.

Luckily the Kelly kettle boiled water in quick time, also that it was sunny and warm to get it dry.

No need for the Cali topper as it’s warm and dry. I think it’ll be on tomorrow night as we’re expecting storms and torrential rain!

Not enough t’interweb juice to upload the photo so will add the photo when I can. For now just imagine a white Cali (nose forward), roll out awning, rolled out to a outhouse handi awning. To the left is the washing line with the dog quilts on. In front of the awning is the kellie kettle and a box and bag of fire stuff.

This is today at Carrick, not far from Kirkudbright, Dumfries and Galloway. Actually, the last 3 days have really shown how versatile the Cali Beach is. On Friday we went for a walk and picnic, Moreton Castle and Wanlockhead respectively. Talk turned (like it does) to the new washing machine needed. There was an ex demo on offer at well known store in Dumfries. No need to wait for delivery, lets take it now. Saturday am, I was doing Parkrun at Ayr, so missus and dogs came too, as the forecast was OK. In fact if was a lovely day, so she suggested, over post-race coffee that we stay out. Had to buy toothbrushes, but all else was aboard, and we had a wonderful night at Port William and another great picnic at Carrick.

The big holiday starts in Fife on Thursday...rotten forecast though

Found an ideal pitch set up for us, grass (ish) hedges and space. The pool is amazing!

How much is that site per night?
I'm guessing about 35€---40€?

We are in France at Camping Le Castelet at St Jean de Muzols,in the Ardeche. Not only is it a very nice camping, good quality in the mountains and with a pool but it has a steam train running by everyday! The station is next to the site. Our pitch is almost beside the line. Absolutely brilliant. It is about 2 miles cycle ride down to Tournon-sur-Rhône and at the moment, very hot....37.5 today.Tain Hermitage wine area also!!View attachment 46822

We moved east from IL de Rae to Mesland. It's a Yelloh branded place mainly for the super swimming pool given the heat!
