Vango drive away awning

Hi All,

we bought a Vango Magra DA awning and are currently testing it out on our staycation. I have a couple questions.
1) we didn’t get a kit to go with it and are attaching the awning directly to the C on the wind out awning. This works fine but I’d like to know if this is wrong/bad etc..
2) When leaving the awning on site and driving away for day, we literally have to drive forward/back with someone feeding the awning through the C as we cannot detach the awning when van stationary as the tunnel is too wide, as in there isn’t sufficient give in the awning to allow us to attach when the van is back in place, Can.anyonr advise if again this is the way it should work? This method again works fine, but want to make sure we aren’t making things unnecessarily difficult, it also makes attaching/detaching a two person job.

You need the driveway kit.
