Valencia to Barcelona

Hi, we are travelling on our first European trip following retirement a couple of weeks ago and have a six month old terrier we thought would enjoy the adventure. We have found dog friendly beaches through google maps, but have singularly failed to find decent camp sites nearby other than a fabulous site nearer Tavara a few days ago which didn’t have a suitable beach. Has anyone hit the spot on dog friendly beaches and a great camp site? We are heading north from Valencia heading back through France to Calais over the next three weeks.
