The Modifications to your Cali Thread

A bit standard nowadays.
I do like the bmw blue calipers, but would you notice against a blue van.

I like them too.
But agree, they would get lost on a blue van.

I fancy painting the calipers and matching the lower front trim strip to blend in with the calipers.
Subtle....

Wifi with booster aerial in pop top, steel safe under passenger seat, extra shelf, two trackers, additional tinting all round, gearbox remapped, Alpine 6.1 speaker upgrade, rear spoiler, bodykit, debadge, dechrome, additional grill lights, 20” Land Rover D4 alloys, spare wheel install

So my converting my Cali to a Transporter mission is almost finished - headlights will be changed when something comes onto the market. Beautifully installed with well thought out solutions from Oli and Paul at Bognor. Even the bill was reasonable. Huge but very reasonable for the work done

So I'm getting bored of my plain van. Its time for a change.
What mods have you done...?
What was good, bad or never again. Looking for inspiration really.
I was contemplating different wheels, 18s. But i quite like the original Devonports.

So i am considering lowering via the VW springs route 30mm, then adding wheel spacers to the original alloys to push the wheels out slightly.
Possibly going to add a front splitter too. Another maybe is a tailgate spoiler. Although not sure the T6 needs it, as its the best looking tailgate Volkswagen have made for the transporter to date.

Lets see what you've got going on...:thumb

Agree with lowering 30mm but IMO the other sporty tweaks are not consistent with a campervan...good on a Sports line Transporter I agree just not on a campervan.

Front splitter is restricted as to what will fit due to arch extensions.
This should fit and not reduce ground clearance but check with supplier re arch.

Don't forget to get a spare wheel lock, Sparesafe

Unable to identify.

They may not be a direct VW fitment as often hub PCD adapters are used to fit wheels intended for other vehicles. The fact that no centre cap is fitted suggests that the centre bore is incorrect requiring a spigot ring and the load rating may also be another factor that is incorrect.

Can the eagle eyed amongst you spot this tweak…?
