T5 2.0 tdi 2015 alternator over run pulley is siezed can this be changed in situ or do you have to remove the alternator to fit a new one

T5 2.0 tdi 2015 alternator over run pulley is siezed can this be changed in situ or do you have to remove the alternator to fit a new one

I'm having the same issue, I've bought the removal kit and the pulley but there's not enough room to the chassis to remove it and torque it back up, so I'm starting to strip it now, it's got to come out underneath so the power steering pump has to come off and the bottom front engine mount by the looks of it, if anyone else can give info it would be apreciated
