I would be more worried in it being ripped off on a road side drop off.

Stopped off at the Cafe at Lac du Mont Cenis, didn't notice the step crunch! the rear skid (tow bar) touched down which is why I keep the detachable tow bar on, light socket bracket bent again.

Things happen wandering around the back roads of Europe, our T4 Cali when fully loaded at 2,800 kg ride height is just under 2m height clearance, I wonder how those lowered driveway/campsite queens would fare with a bit of hard use...

So we’ve just got back from a week away with the van, and thanks to the replies in this thread I got the Spare Safe before we left.

It is way smaller in reality than the photos in the club shop led me to think! So small that it’s definitely not an issue having it bright red.. I’m not going to bother with a re spray after all.. seems laughable I even considered it

But seeing Perfectos’ picture, I think I’ll find some interesting tiny content to sticker on there - will post my competition entry here soon

Sprayed with flat black paint and it is invisible unless you know that it is there.

I'm put off by the high cost of shipping to Switzerland (about the same as the kit itself) otherwise it looks like a good idea.

You can find it in Amazon. Shipping still not cheap, but it doesn't double the price at least

All the paint fell off mine too. They obviously don't ue primer. Mines also now black.
