Smell of solvent

VW dealer fixed a leak a 5 weeks ago around the rear washer, it came back with a really strong solvent glue smell, thought it would get less, but it’s as strong as ever. Anyone have any experience of how long it takes to go, won’t want to sleep in their at the moment, not that we can at the moment

Have you tried leaving windows open a while to see if that helps?
Solvents evaporate so if it’s trapped in the vehicle the smell may remain?
Just thinking ‘aloud’ as it were.

Just driving with the windows open, I’ll open them for a few hours tomorrow

Try running the diesel heater for an hour or so on top setting, get the van really warm inside, then open all door and tailgate, the initial heat should help any residue evaporate into the air in the van, opening the doors etc will allow it to vent to outside
