Securing the payment for the sale of our VW California

Very good and welcome advice overall on this thread. As someone who may consider selling in the future, the above post mentions test driving a vehicle. My own insurance only covers 2 named drivers, I’m assuming the potential buyer must arrange their own cover and be able to verify this to the seller. Any advice would be welcome? Thanks

Cuvva, an Apple app will give cover from one hour to 28 days. Can be done when the prospective buyer is with you. There are others, Veygo, Day insure, Boom. I imagine they’re on android too

A reply mentioned insurance for potential buyers earlier. I’m not sure I would allow anyone to drive my Cali - they can sit in the passenger seat.
