Reverse Polarity GC or Cali

This may have been asked already, sorry if answered.

But if you are plugged in and you discover that via your testing plug you have reverse polarity, will the Van distribution board deal with this in a safe manner or do I plug in my reverse polarity lead.

Much discussed previously.

Not an issue unless you were to go delving into the electrics of a unit thinking that you had switched that unit off with its power individual switch. Power live would be through the Neutral side and be on internally at all times.

For peace of mind I carry a short cross over lead, had it from decades ago caravanning.

Cali main switch is Double Pole and assume GC is the same ie both Live & Neutral lines On or Off so no path for Live to get through when Switch is Off.
