Replacing Roof Canvas T4 2002

Hello, can anyone help re instructions, diagrams, or pictures showing how to replace canvas on T4 California Westfalia Event 2002 ?

The post regarding the replacement of the red 98 westy is different from the 2002 westy both regarding canvas type and removal.

There are no seals on the canvas attached to either bottom or top

The canvas is fixed by aluminium strips screwed to both roof and vehicle

I have the canvas and a barn to do the work
It has been suggested that I remove the roof completely turn it upside down on two work horse benches with a bit of carpet
This is to make it easy to clean roof hinges which have rust on and attach the canvas in the otherwise cramped space at the back

Could anyone help with instructions as what to do and how to do it please
