I have followed various threads on here and will be making a change to my 2015 Cali suspension which currently has 30mm Eibach springs fitted. Has anyone used a Essex bases specialist for fitting that they could recommend please?

From Essex - you have two who are equidistant
Bognor Motors - https://bmvs.co.uk/suspension/ - in Bognor Regis (which I think technically comes under south east)
OR
CRS Performance - http://crsperformance.co.uk/ - north of B'ham, south of Stafford.

Both of them understand the VW Cali/Transporter very well and will do the right thing as well as suggest/recommend. Both of them come highly recommended on VW Forums.

It is not far ... especially to get the right thing done.

Thanks very much, will speak to them both,.

I've actually found this page because I'm struggling with the ride on my -30mm Eibach lowered T5 (front is dreadfully trashy over bumps its beyond a joke) and currently looking at swapping these out for some B14 Comfort coil overs.

Also seem to have an ongoing issue with centering the steering wheel after lowering. Both garages I use believe the steering to be off to the left when its not. The Hunter alignment seems to struggle and I've had the steering alignment sensor checked. The issue manifested itself after lowering.

Apart from the crashy front suspension, and the inability to have a centred steering wheel (very, very slightly off) , the van drives fine with consistent tyre wear.

I had similar problems and found that it was mainly due to adjustments being made to 'within' tolerance levels.
Eventually got it set up to actual figures, as close as could be achieved ie +or- zero.
Also the centre line tolerance was adjusted to put front and rear close to spec. Crabbing. This setting is more important than I thought would be the case.

Just had a long chat with Simon at Bognor Motors. Arranging a visit the following weekend to try the coil overs. If they do what they say then I'm swapping the Eibachs out.

Good call. Do keep us posted. :thumb

+1 Bognor Motors . Oli and the team did a great job for us. Have the Eibach coilovers (now available from VW so pretty OEM) and very pleased with them.

Mind me asking what you paid for them?
