Northern Lights

Managed to get this last night a couple of miles from home.



Spoilt a bit by glow from Sheffield and Chesterfield but definitely worth the trip out.

Anyone else see them?

Great photo. Very jealous. We are too far south but we are heading to Scotland in a few weeks so fingers crossed. Let's hope tomorrow is clear for the eclipse!

Eagerly awaiting news from my parents who were on a ferry from Norway into the circle and they took my camera (low light beastie!)

Yep. Too cloudy here on Tuesday night when they were strongest but I saw them last night when we had clear, starry skies

Oh no they have had cloud most nights too

A nice arc low on the horizon last night with some vertical columns just as I set up my camera (arrived a little too late !).
