We are heading off from Ireland this weekend and plan spending next week visiting family and friends in Birmingham, London and Totnes before taking the ferry from Plymouth to Roscoff. We are also visiting friends in Nantes and Les Sables-d Olonne. Early November we’ll be on our own and making our way down to Spain and Morocco. As the days are short and some camp sites closed we may sometimes stay at B&Bs. Our main concern is safe parking of our van (with bikes on the back) in particular Morocco. We know there is guarded parking in Morocco but would like advice from people who did this in winter. Some hotels in Morocco offer free parking but we need to be sure it’s secure. We’re also checking our insurance cover in Morocco which could put a stop to taking the van there. Any advice appreciated. Thanks

Thanks for your reply and indeed other replies as well - my insurance does not cover Morocco so it’s buy at the border. John
Your insurance at the border is third party only. I had insurance with Safeguard but they withdrew the green card for Morocco which was fully comp. Now gone to Saga; not cheap but when the van is worth £60+ it’s good to have!
