I did warn you I'd be here a lot!

Been looking at various slide pods, kitchen pods etc and decided there's not much a few removable basics won't do but that leads me in to my question.

I'm looking at equipping the beach with a single burner gas stove, an electric kettle for when on hookup and a microwave for use on hookup too. Is there any reason the 230v electrics in the van would have a problem with this? I know the purists amongst you will disapprove so apologies but having used one in a folding camper and caravan before, it's one of my top gadgets!
Many thanks...

I use a 1kw 1L camping kettle on hook up without any trouble. I nit tried a microwave but you can get small low power ones for doing your beans in and I'm sure they will be fine. I suppose just don't use both at once . I think you can even get 12v microwaves but I'd need to Google that to be sure

I have a Daewoo travel kettle from Robert Dyas, good size and boils quickly. :)

Never felt the need for a microwave, just takes up too much space for me but I am sure there are 12v mini travel versions as Mr Banana states.
