Lowering Cali with Atera Strada DL3 bike carrier

Howdy folks,

Does anyone here have the Atera Strada DL3 on a Cali that has been lowered?

I'm thinking of having mine lowered this year and I'm a little concerned that being that bit closer to the floor will prevent the rack from sliding all the way away from the van, and therefor stop the rear door opening.

Any experience of this here, positive or negative, would be much appreciated (although I hope it is the answer I want to hear!)

I haven't but could you try putting a bit of 30mm high wood/yellow pages/phonebook/etc on the floor and sliding the rack back until it touches and see if there's enough room for the door?
