We've had our Ocean 16 months now and at the same time purchased an Outdoor Revolution T3E awning. Probably not our best decision. We use it when doing 3 or more nights in same location or when our grandaughter joins us.
We are now looking for an awning that is much lighter, compact and quicker to erect and dismantle. Just to give that extra space to layout our gear.
I am looking at 2 options.
A. Vango Faros III poled awning.
B. Outdoor Revolution Cayman Cuda poled awning.
I would appreciate any feedback on either of these and any other suggestions.
Thanks in advance.

do you think a poled awning offers much time saving over an air beam in terms of setup/take down?
i have a small OR awning and its is a faff, my biggest annoyance seems to be I'm always dealing with it in the rain, which mean i have to get it out again at home, I'm thinking awning room for those 1,2 maybe 3 night trips, I'm away at the weekend for 3 nights and am going back to just the rollout and my Coleman event shelter pro - which leaks unfortunately, can of Aquatex inbound as a test ;) the event shelter weights a ton and is huge package (its the 4.5m one), but as my roof box is still on from my France trip i can accommodate it at least this time

It's a bit of a dilemma. The T3E is a lump and very heavy. But we do enjoy the space.
I'm thinking a smaller, poled awning would be a much smaller and lighter package.
I think the poled option could be a little quicker to erect, but not sure. That's why I've reached out. I don't want to chuck a few hundred pounds at something that does not give us benefits. We will visit a retailer with a large display range and hopefully see and discuss.
What do you men by OR awning ?
