LED Lighting Questions

I'm looking to change the bulbs in my 2006 Cali for LED's. As far as I can see I'll need G4 LED's for the 5 small button lights in the rear and a 42mm fastoon bulb in the front. I wanted to ask, do any of the bulbs have to be canbus enabled? Also does anybody know what LED bulbs I would need to replace the two reading lights either side of the fastoon bulb? I would also like to replace the strip light above the hob but recall reading that this involves a bit if soldering?

Having used the upstairs reading light for the first time over the weekend, if anything needed replacing with a bright LED it's that. Pathetic or what! Any upgrade suggestions most welcome.
