Lakes at half term

Any views on low wray site in Ambleside at the end of October.

Not sure about that site but we we did a week in Boot, Eskdale this time last year and the weather was great!

Low Wray's a nice site and close to Ambleside for 'stuff' i.e. supplies or things to do if the weather's naff - there's also plenty to do around Hawkshead and Coniston. Be aware that the van stands at the campsite aren't by the lake though so don't expect the lakeside views unless you're in a tent.
