It is a push fit. Part lower roof and push in using a trim tool or blunt rounded knife blade. Some have used a thin bead of mastic to hold.

Like Welsh Gas has said. I use a small thin wooden spatula to push it back in place ... I decided not to seal it just push it back into place when required ... Works for me.

But obviously lower the roof first so the material is not under tension.
