Highway accident (this Saturday)

I think this link of a video made with a dash cam this Saturday can be an eye opener, how stupid is to drive too fast in fog assuming it is O.K. as being on a highway. There are two videos:

The end result is four dead, more than 60 cars, 8 buses and ten trucks involved. The highways was closed for 12 hours.

People do the same in rain here, its crazy. Sad for the people effected but some care and thought could have prevented it

It's called " The Art of Driving ". Something that seems to be going out of fashion very quickly. What with the advent of ACC, auto lights, lane assist and many others combined with mobile phones etc: people just dont realise they are in charge of a killing machine. Air bags and seat belts just add to their sence of invulnerability at the expense of others.

And bet nobody is bothering to go back put a warning triangle at least 50 meters back. All are waiting for colliding vehicles to come

It is better just to move away, if you go back you can die on the road. As you can see it all happened in an instant. Some idiots were driving up to 150km/h and trucks 85 to 90. There was a visibility of 50m, so the rule is to drive up to 50km/h in such conditions.
