The leisure battery is the cause of the services malfunctions and consequently of the control panel fault.
If the fridge is switched on at full power after a long parking and the leisure battery is not fully charged, this can cause the NTC fridge fault.
The NTC fridge fault is showed by 5 short lights followed by 6 single lights.
The above fault causes malfunction to the control panel and all the services under it stop to work.
Accordingly to that problem, VW has replaced the control panel recently with a new updated one.
Whose who had a previous GC version, have to update the control panel software with the 503 revision one so that the new rebooting cancel all the services anomalies.
At this point remains to replace the fridge NTC with a new one among a good refrigerator avoiding a huge replacement fridge cost because the fridge NTC is not part of the VW spares.
That's it!
