glow plug,

Hi all
I have experienced som start up problems when having really cold weather. (colder than - 20 degrees celcius)
Since I have an 2,5 TDI engine and the total kilometer has pasted 120 000, I assumed that it my glow plugs needed to be replaced.

So I let my local garage help me with the replacement.
However it turned out be a 6h job just to replace the glow plugs costing a hefty 550 UK pounds.

Question,
Have the garage cheated me?

Hi fredrik. That's sounds very expensive to me although I am no expert maybe someone else
On here will know. I thought you only just got your Cali did you buy from a dealer :?:

Hi there,

Looks a little dear.

It's a bit of pain of a job, quite a lot to be removed to get to all of them.

Friend had his done by main dealer around a year ago... think it was £365
