French Trip next Summer

We are planning to do a trip to France for 3 weeks next summer in our cali, Mom, Dad & 2 kids (11&9). We want to get down to the med coast this time, last time we did calais, caen, la rochelle, sarlat, nevers and then back up, had a fab time.

Anyhow to get the ball rolling and being slightly lazy, can anybody suggest a site close to the med coast and stopping point for say 1 week or more and then we can plan route down and route back, needs to have plenty for kids to do. We did stop at a camping indigo and castel site before but not sure if they have nay on the south coast.

We had a few days in La Grande Motte earlier this year, most enjoyable.

Hi Mark, we did a very similar trip down to the Med this year, we stopped off at a really nice campsite Camping Le Clos Auroyfor five nights on the way down, Auvergne is a really nice region of France that many people bypass.

Mt Ventoux is well worth a stop on the way down as is Millau Viaduct

We visited some other Cali owners on a lovely site in Millau.
