I regret not ordering a tow bar for a cycle rack that allows boot access.
I'm also starting to regret not opting for the Dynamic Chassis Control. I am already considering coilovers and anti-roll bar upgrade to improve the ride. £600 for a 6.1 ARB! £1100 for coilovers! I hear the DCC for 6.1 is very good (Sport for windy roads) and £1458 seems good value. Thoughts on 6.1 DCC effectiveness and the ability to retro-fit DCC very welcome...

Nice! I know we were both interested in DTD quotes on another thread - I’d recommend a quote from Tom if you haven’t got one already

What about 4x keys?
Argghhhhh :):) Yes flip flopped on this and a few others but decided no on the basis that I’ve always had two keys for many other cars and never lost one.... I am definitely going to lose a key now aren’t I?

I had received a quote from Breeze (not Tom) but unfortunately it wasn’t good enough to beat what another dealer had already offered me. For the first time ever, I didn’t want to go back and forth playing off dealers!

have been thinking about art velours after reading your post. My I ask why you’ve decided to go for it and what is the option list price please? Do you have something equivalent on Your current beach?

I’ve just had the standard grey fabric on both my Beaches and it’s not great. Was hoping to go for Black this time but its only available on the Tour. Also not that sure on the look of the mixed dots so thought I’d give the Art Velours a go! Typical that Its still grey though!

I asked for real photos on here a couple of weeks back and thought it seemed too light but there were a couple of comments saying it was darker than it looked and was harder wearing than it appears.

The list price is £1040 + vat.

It needs to be ordered with Heated Front Seats and 3 seat bench. I think this will definitely lift the interior look.

Of all the many posts that I've read on this forum, I don't recall ever reading of anyone having ordered the Dynamic Chassis Control option nor have I read any reviews of this option. That leads me to wonder if:
1. This very expensive option is a waste of money and anyone who did spec it is afraid to say so or
2. It is so good that the owners have been lulled off into a long coma by its brilliant ride or
3. It's so über expensive that no one has actually bought it.
Sorry to go off on a slight tangent but you might want some feedback on this option before paying over a King's ransom.

I was thinking something similar today. Looked on the configurator earlier for more information but its very vague. As usual!

Yes I’m sure it’s a rare option. But you do read a lot about folk trying to improve the ride aftermarket, maybe VW have perfected DCC. I read a post recently (can’t lay my hands on it) suggesting the poster had experience of earlier versions and the 6.1 DCC is improved and works well. I would like to hear from anyone with negative or positive experience. Here’s a positive one.

Interesting thread
Im going to call Oli at Bognor tomorrow and pick his brains

For others that have ordered / ordering, you can now add Insect Mesh to the sliding side windows. £114 each

Every year in France, I’ve always wished we had an insect mesh to the sliding window.
