Connecting factory fitted 12V socket with solar controller load output

As far as I know, the factory fitted 12V sockets are not protected against the battery deep discharge (is it correct?). Therefore, I have an idea to connect one of these sockets (the side one, above the gas bottle compartment in T6.1 Beach) with the load output in my solar charger controller. The question is how can I get in to the back of the socket to change the wiring? Do I have to remove all the plastic panels or maybe there is some magic trick to remove these sockets?
