Climatronic reset/re-boot possible??

Temp seems to be way out on this this past week or so, blowing cold air even when set on 24 deg C (it's about 15 degrees outside!)

So having to turn temp setting right up to red to get warm air.

Is there a way of dong this without getting booked into the VW workshop?

It could be a fault.

Temperature and air flow is controlled by a series of flap motors, if one of these fails or sticks then it will cause symptoms similar to yours.

The first step with that is to carry out a 'Basic Setting Adjustment' which re-learns/calibrate/zero's the flap position. Sadly this requires a diagnostic tool.

Sounds kind of similar to mine which runs fine for about half an hour then runs cold - warm air only returns when the temp is turned right up.
They replaced the air quality sensor but i don't think this solved the problem, i've barely used it since it was done in march so not entirely sure. Might be worth mentioning it to your dealer though.
