After some thinking I start a thread here about the van and our travels. I started the other day in the "Introduce" forum but it will be more right to carry on here I think.

Bulliliving in Sweden

Since I started a thread about swaping the Cali with some other Cali owner in GB in the "Hire" forum I thought that I would introduce my self. Me and my family bought our Cali new in 2018. At the time I was working as a salesman at Volkswagen in a town namned Eskilstuna. I have sold about 15-20...

We bought the Cali new i 2018 and the choice of color is Acapulco blue. It´s a FWD with DSG and 150 hp.
We have about 60 nights so far in the van and we have put about 80000km on the clock. We have bin around in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Germany and France so far and the dream trip is the Alps and northern Italy.

Extras that we have completed with as the time has passed.

• Black b-pillars
• Wind deflectors
• Upgraded stereo (Improved sound)
• Windowbag Vanessa
• Tent Jura Vango

Some pictures from the first California meeting in Sweden this summer. I think it was about 20 cars.

New strainer for the tap. The old one had started to leak. Find one at the local bathroom store that fitted. The system is drained over the winter so I will test it when spring comes.

This weekend we spent in the Cali. And you don´t always has to go far. This time we drove about 30km from home to a place that we never had vised befor. Watching Race Of Champions in the day and the Swedish qualification to Eurovision Song contest in the evening.

This weekend we have been cross skiing at a skicenter named Säfsen . Fantastic weather here in Sweden with a lot of sun. We started Friday evening with sushi and "Sweden got talent". Satarday we were out all of the day in the sun. In the evening we baked our own calzone with a Omnia oven.

Thanks Fredrik, I have been thinking about getting a set but as we have only just got our Coast I’m wondering if we should try it without first ( only 4 nights sleeping in it so far and always downstairs

P.S just noticed the Omnia, fantastic! we have had one for 9 years now. I think probably the most useful, underrated and misunderstood piece of kitchen equipment out there.

Lovely looking Cali. I was thinking of just getting a front splitter rather than the full on spoiler for mine. Yours looks smart and may have just tipped my decision.
