We’ve posted before on this thread https://vwcaliforniaclub.com/threads/new-youtube-channel.46138/
about our son’s YouTube videos but have started a new thread so we can let everyone know when he’s posted a new video.

In summary, he was born with cerebral palsy, uses a wheelchair, and he’s keen to show in his videos that he can have a disability and still get out and enjoy camping trips and adventures. Each video he’s posted he’s made a point of showing the accessibility of sites, disabled facilities, and how easy it is to get around places.

His latest video is:

If you watch, like, subscribe or comment it has a massively positive impact on him

Thanks everyone

Our son has posted a new video today; it’s about a trip we did to Pierrefonds castle in the north of France. Hope you enjoy it :)

A new video has gone online this afternoon re a trip we’ve just done this weekend to Poolsbrook Country Park, which is a handy stopover just off the M1 near Chesterfield. Nice level site right in the middle of the country park - we all enjoyed it

Well done B. Good to see youngsters working the video world.

Subscribed. Keep it up! Black Rock Sands added to the bucket list....

Thanks to B we visited Black Rock Sands en route to Dub Farm. Our four year old Schnauzer Odin says thank you, he had good fun in the sea and sniffing sea weed and other smelly things.

He loved the picture of Odin - our westie loved the beach there :)

We’ve recently flown to Copenhagen - so warning to everyone that this video isn’t really Campervan related (we weren’t going to link it here but there is some relevance)

We wanted to find a hotel that was close to all the attractions, but that we could also park our Campervan at when we go on a long Scandinavian tour in the next couple of years (as we’d want to break the trip up with a couple of hotel stays in some of the cities). We found the Scandic Copenhagen - it’s right at the side of the Planetarium in Copenhagen near Vesterport Station, so really easy for all the sights (and it allows dogs and has a waterside path to walk them on) but the main thing is it’s got loads of parking next to and near the hotel where we saw a number of motorhomes and Campervans parked up. For anyone visiting Copenhagen in their vans, it’s a great place to park up for the day (there’s also a large q-park underground car park here with a height limit above 2m so this should be ok as well but we didn’t have chance to check it out)

New video with a Halloween twist is online now.

We stayed at Les Ormes Domain and Resort which was a really good site in Brittany set in the grounds of a chateau in Dol de Bretagne. Our pitch was in a walled garden, was massive, had a shed/ storage area which was great for dumping some of our stuff in, and had one of the best swimming pools we’ve ever seen on a site.

Was also extremely well located for visiting Mont Saint Michel - about a 20 minute drive away, easy to park up and a good trip out. Quick tip though on the car park here - there was a choice of paying at the barrier or paying at a machine before. We chose to pay at the machine only to find that the barrier was raised so we could’ve saved some money there! Might be worth a thought if you visit yourself
