Advice on awning fitting please prior to going away tomorrow

Hi all

I’ve bought this and checked it’s ok for a California (ie door on the right?)

Could anyone advise please what I need to fit it. Assume it goes in the channel of the wind out awning? Need to get to a camping shop quickly!

That awning will work fine for a van with a door either side.

Short term it will come with straps you can use.

Wow. Nothing like leaving it to the last minute. With something like this it’s always advisable to have a few trial runs before you actually go away on holiday. If you get the chance try and fit it today so you know if there any parts missing,

You should probably check the thickness of the kador strip on the awning. From memory the channel is 4mm but thickness on awnings is typically 6mm, so you may be need a connecting kit (£30ish). If you're not sure get the double kador with 4 and 6mm.
