Alarm sounded at 01.03 last night.
Siren sounded for 7 seconds and lights flashed for 4 minutes.
CCTV shows nobody around vehicle all night.
WeConnect says the vehicle is open and side door is open. 7 hours ago.
So around 01:30
But all doors locked. Side door was shut with a bit of a good sounded dunk at 20:00 last night.

WeConnect had a senior moment ?

Sounds like there is something wrong with the sliding door catch/sensor. That's where I'd start. WeConnect is unlikely to be "wrong" - but it will say door open if it does not read the sensor. Same for Alarm. If the sensor came on and off it will have sounded.

You are right, WeConnect was correct.
All doors locked and you cannot open them, but side door ajar a tiny bit.

It’s very bizarre, just watched video again and I 100% shut the side door.
I didn’t do it gently, as sometimes it opens a crack.
I slide it like a panel van, and the door was firm.
Went in the house, clicked alarm fob and you can hear locks lock.
But looking out the window and down, (after the wife had missed the crack ;) the side door is slightly open.
Nothing jammed or stopping the side door shutting.
Been out and opened it and closed it gently.
Shuts and opens.
Closed it again gently.
Closes and stays closed.
Locked it.
Let’s see what it does today.

But why wait to sound the alarm after 5 hours ?
Very weird..

Likely as it was on a hair trigger for the sensor. Doesnt really matter how hard you slam it - the door has a electric mechanism for the last inch or so to pull it into place. This can be a bit of a pain sometimes. I just make sure to clean the sensor every so often.

Have you got carpet on the side steps? Found that occasionally the carpet will shift from people and dogs getting in and out just enough to stop the side door fully closing. Shifting the carpet back even a few mm will clear it.

Where’s the sensor please ?
A picture would help thank you

Yes Dunelm chopped mat inside, but not in the step…
Thanks!

They look okay, but given them a clean with clean microfibre cloth.
Always wash a bunch of microfibres with the fairy non-bio and no softer :thumb
