2.0 Diesel 204PS DSG 4Motion

Hi guys,

After weeks of searching. Debating. New. Pre registered. Used. I have finally left a deposit on a 2017 California Ocean 2.0 Diesel 204PS DSG 4Motion, I will be viewing the vehicle this Monday.

I have been reading this engine has now been discontinued/or is on back order.

Is is still advisable to go ahead with this engine?

Any other things I should be looking out for? Spec etc?

I have been reading this engine has now been discontinued/or is on back order.

I ordered one today and was not told it was backordered. The engine only became available on Wednesday or Thursday of this week [18/08/2017] so it could be that not all dealerships are updated or have checked the system for whatever reason.

Engine appears to be the same as used in the Tiguan which has 240PS version. No adverse info found on that.

I'm with you just left a deposit on the same model, fully loaded must be mad! Can't wait!
