Hello everyone, as a new member I would like to introduce myself briefly. I previously owned a T6 Ocean, which I regretfully exchanged for a GC 680 (a poorly built camper in my opinion). So very happy that it has been sold and that I'll soon be driving my new T6.1 Ocean, Edition, 199hp in Candy White. Regards, Ant

Welcome back into the Cali family. You've got good experience. Enjoy.

Welcome. Wow, three in how many years?

Good choice. I have a Pure Grey Coast Edition. Can't comment on the poor GC build quality but I completely concur the T6.1 is a very well built.

Welcome back. What took so long !

We need to see photos of 1,2 & 3 !

I'm glad to read this... found my T6 also very well build and ergonomic, thank you!

Welcome.
Interesting that you’ve experienced a bigger van and gone back to an Ocean.
I’ve done exactly the same, although haven’t re-ordered my new Cali yet. But will be soon.

I’m sure lots of people here will be interested of your experience small>big>small… :thumb

Thank you! Yes I used the GC 680 for about 8 months and went just back from a 5 month trip. The Crafter did well, but I found out that it’s a different league the way it’s build towards the small Cali. The used materials are crappy, fully plastic cupboard handles break off after a while, push locks of the drawers break off when you’re driving, the sealant in the bathroom is coming loose, the saucers of the bed get loose because they are screwed into pressed 'wood', the floor is soft and damaged fast, the drawers are poorly mounted and fall out because of screwing into pressed 'wood', the cabinets are so clumsy that everything falls out when opened, small inexplicable holes getting in all blackout curtains, the on-board computer often has to be reset, the refrigerator uses abnormal amounts of electricity, so your poorly 92Ah AGM drops down in half a day under 50%, when it rains, you’ve got to close the side door, cause there is a big gap between the roof and awning, etc. Never again a 'big' one for me…

Can't wait till next week when I've picked up my Cali Edition. At the last moment I've decided to change the 18" Valdivia rims for stunning black 18" Springfields... The black accents on the Edition made me change my mind ;-)
