I've just ordered a set, Carl! I love that you've been able to turn this into a little operation. I'll gladly support you. May I ask one question? What size screen from Amazon do you use, please? Is it the
Duronic Bar 40” Projector Screen? Apologies if I'm being dumb! Thank you!
Will has a link to the one he uses in the comments under his @CaliforniaTime YT vid here if that helps....

Thanks Carl. Just taken the plunge and ordered some of your fab looking brackets, a nebula max and duronic screen. I’ll be looking forward to some rainy days when I’m camping now:)

I hope you enjoy Doc, I have just used mine when camping off grid for 4 nights, the projector lasted about 3 hours, thankfully the campsite we stayed on would recharge it for £1 each day

Even had it connected to my Bluetooth speaker for the ultimate cinema experience. I place the speaker on the floor between the seats :)

That sounds good! Although generally try to preserve battery when off grid I’ve just ordered an adaptor to charge it via usbc. If it works it will be handy and a fraction of the size of the max charger as an added bonus.

Can you let me know how you go with the adaptor please, it's something I have been looking into but haven't found a decent solution

I will do of course. It is on order but will be a couple of weeks until it arrives (slow boat from china I think)

I purchased this from Amazon and it charges my Nebula.

After three trips out in our (new to us) cali and also watching the review on California Time YouTube channel, we decided to purchase a Anker Nebula Projector so we could catch up with a few box sets on Netflix.

Purchasing the projector was easy, but working how and what to project it onto was the difficulty. I have seen various methods on the internet so thought I would have a go at designing and 3D Printing a solution that worked for us. This is the first revision I have tried and it work perfectly. I am already working on a version 2

the screen was off amazon £25 I think

Hi we got this elegant setup and the what a design credit it is to you. Utterly brilliant! The one area I couldn’t get to work is adjusting the keystone on the nebula Apollo which would enable leaving the projector on the worksurface. Am I doing something wrong here? Cheers

For info on this thread - I've been working to finalise this setup after using my Nebula successfully on the pop top last week. Have the brackets from the shop but unfortunately the link here and on the shop point to a newer screen which is too large. After some digging (and returning the screen that was too long) this is the new link for the right size screen. It's also now 55 quid, not the previous 25 and more or less sold out in other places. There are some Amazon returns ones at 29.99 though if yr quick.

Edit - Removed link as not the same type of screen.

That is a different model - with a base and arms to allow it to stand on a table. So more bulky. As long as it has the right connectors at the top, it would work though.

Edit - looking at it, it doesnt have the round ends at the top of the screen to fit the mounts, so this one wont work at all. You need the BPS40 not the DPS40

ta - good catch. Cancelled. Looks like you cannot get the BPS40 anywhere anymore....

Hi everyone

I emailed the manufacturer of the screen, I am told more screens are on order and should be back in stock in about 5 weeks

I have looked for an alternative, but found nothing, if anyone has found one put the link here and I will check it out

I am sure if you order the bigger screen it could be trimmed down to fit width ways, but length ways I am not sure

Well I'm not using your brackets Carl as I have a slightly different solution. But my screen is home made.

I just go some 20mm'ish PVC pipe from B&Q cut it to length and then taped that to some old ikea white blind I had laying around that I cut to size. Might be a solution that would work/could be adapted for your brackets.

I do find that sometimes there isn't enough weight on the bottom to keep the screen taught and just add a little tension with a small bunge hooked to the seats

Tape a pipe to bottom and put a bit of weight in it, I was thinking of doing this to my screen to pull it straight

I have never used it and dont know how much it costs but you could look into https://www.reship.com

I know people who have used it to get stuff from USA which normally only ships internally - basically they give you a delivery address for the retailer to send to and they then forward it onto you overseas. Looking at their website they also reship stuff from UK I think.

If you download the 3D plans Carl uploaded you can just use any local Spanish 3D printing service online and they will send to your house. Easy beer. Assuming the upload link is still earlier in the thread.
