Tesla is the most ‘shorted’ stock on the market. Many people obviously think the price is inflated and bears no actual relationship to the real world performance of the company.
 
Merger could be a win-win would sort Tesla’s production problems and VWs software problems. Tesla Cali anyone?
 
A market crash must happen this year surely? Stock values don’t seem to reflect the ‘real world’.
 
I bought last year as a long term punt to sit in a LISA until retirement... but even as an owner of a vehicle, powerwall and customer of their energy plan with octopus my finger is hovering on the sell button, as it was at the beginning of the week ...14% ago
 
Done what he said to SWMBO's Smart car as you have to take the bonnet off to get to the battery and you can't easily secure it with a charging cable in place.
 
At least they've just stopped accepting Bitcoins in payment for Teslas (annual carbon emissions of Bitcoin mining and network is about the same as that of the whole of New Zealand).

and the battery only lasts 5 years. and diesel generators keep the power stations cool to make electric.

That will change, he's got 1.5 billion dollars of bitcoin. He will be buying a lot more now his comments have caused a temporary plummet.

no he won't. Some big money bought the stock also because it's green. Investing in bitcoin when mining it burns an insane amount of non green electricity , defeats the purpose of having an electric vehicle.
so if he doesn't won't these investors to pull out better forget about bitcoin

We'll see. Big whales dumped the stock in panic, he has far too much sway on the markets. Rocket programmes are not very green either. He knew all about mining before investing all that money in bitcoin.
