Dogs are welcome and they are even allowed in the bar/restaurant.

Highlands End is a 5 star family run campsite, just a 500 metre walk from the beach with panoramic cliff top views of Dorset’s Jurassic Coast. On the site there is a Bar & Restaurant, Leisure Club with Swimming Pool, Sauna, Steam Room and Gym, there is also the Cowshed Coffee Shop with stunning views, an on-site shop, Visitor Information and 2 children’s play areas.

PLEASE READ IF ATTENDING THIS MEET

This meet was originally for around 40 vans however it has now grown to nearly 80 Cali's now. Here are a few reminders for anyone attending, especially anyone attending for the first time

1. Arrival time on Friday is from 2pm onwards, some people ignore this but we have a set arrival time for a reason.

2. When you arrive at the campsite you must check in at reception first. Once checked in please follow the signs to the rally field and wait to be checked in by one of the volunteers who will take down your details and direct you to your pitch

3. Last arrival time on Friday evening is 9pm

4. Day visitors are Saturday ONLY - please follow signs to the rally field, please do not come to the site on Sunday

5. This is just a casual rally to meet other Cali owners, please do not expect to see any live entertainment, a show 'n' shine or fairground rides, we do however plan to have a quiz in the bar on Saturday evening but space will be limited.

6. This is a joint meet with the Marco Polo Owners Club - Please be nice to them and no fighting, we have asked the same from them.

Date is in the diary....need two things - in this order!
1) Sanction from leader of the opposition. Should be a formality!!
2) Booking details.
:)

We are going at the end of the month. Assuming no major issues we'll be there :thumb

Looking forward to seeing many of you there with a bit less drama than our March visit and hopefully some good sunsets.

We have recently ordered new Cali (should arrive beginning 2019). To allow my wife and I to hopefully see members set-ups we have booked on to the Dorset site (static caravan) for the 3 nights (Fri, Sat, Sun) at the time of the VWCC meet. Would be great to meet some members to get some general advice/tips.

We have just booked, bringing our 11yr old boy, is anyone bringing similar aged children? very excited already!

I am sure there will be a few other kids around that age coming along, its only early days and the campsite has already taken quite a few bookings so I can see this being a busy meet.

Also, just to update we have invited members of the Marco Polo club along to this meet as they are yet to have their own rally and we thought this is a great opportunity for Cali owners to have a proper look at the MP and speak to owners about how they are getting on with them.

We have one 4 year old boy and a 10 year old lurcher.

We're all booked too. + 2 children 8 & 5. Our 1st Cali meet. Very excited!!

Is there a cut off time for booking? We want to come but have to wait until one of the offspring's confirms when he would like his belongings moved around the country

You should be OK for now, so far we have around 20 bookings but I can see this being quite a busy meet. We will update this thread once pitches are limited

Booked for our first meet, largely on the strength of the number of you who’ve said you’re also bringing kids with you - it’ll be nice for our two boys (seven and nearly-three) to have some company!

We're booked... with the possibility of bringing an 11 year old lad too.

We will book this next week, this looks like a great campsite and will be good to get some tips and tricks off you guys

Looks like this meet is going to sell out, the campsite are getting bookings every day and don't forget this is a shared meet with the Marco Polo club

Just booked up for our first Cali meet (2 Adults, 4-year-old twins and Oscar the dog). Looking forward to seeing you all in September. Lets hope this weather continues until then! :D
