Sorry for late reply
I have just changed the setting in mfd to travel mode on and the beams lowered about and inch so I reckon that might of sorted it
We will soon see

Hi guys
Turns out I hadn't sorted it so I booked it in at vw for today
So the verdict was that they were set too high and wasn't picked up before I took delivery
I've just been outside to check and they are now a whole 12 inches lower over a distance of 14 feet
Amazing
The van has been lowered 30mm so would have been even worse before
Thank god it's been sorted
If anyone else has the same problem then I would definitely get them checked out
