Looking to buy
Hi everyone.

After a few years of deliberating looking to buy a cali. Cant be waiting until the end of summer so looking for a used ocean as think im better going for t6 over t5se. Ive been looking on these forums for a few weeks which has been a great help - one thing i could do with knowing is how you search the forums so im not asking duplicate questions to some of my remaining queries. Fingers crossed my ideal spec comes up in the next few weeks/months! Ps will be putting on finance - any best products people can recommend from their research?? Thanks!!

Hi James, first things first welcome :welcome

Can you see a search function at top right of screen? It should look like this:

You will find some options once you select the window. Good luck.

Hi James the best way to search the site is to use google with a site restriction.
In your google search bar use the following; [Site:vwcaliforniaclub.com word word word] this restricts google to just this site and also allows you to use 3 letter words that the site search doesn't.

Welcome , the fact you are very motivated to use the "search" function sounds like music in my ears.....;)

You will find out why soon:D

Hi and welcome James crossen

Maybe it is because you are visiting the page with a mobile device?
I am using the App Tapatalk and i realy like it.

You ask about things to buy beside the Cali (Beach, Ocean or Cost)? Depends on the vehicle. IMO the California has it all and I did tend to buy to much things I do not need.
- Coast and Ocean: Look for the starter pack in this websiteshop.
- Beach: Ask yourself some questions about cooking (fix installed or easy removable) and about how to cool food and drinks.

However look forward to read more about your plans and van!

Cheers sapto

Never knew this search method on Google. Great. Thanks.

When on the forum using the Iphone the window "search" is also not there , on Ipad it is....very strange maybe a admin like @Martin can explain why...

Thanks everyone. I am on a mobile device BUT i think i have found it! If you look on the screen shot in the bottom r/h corner you may spot a tiny camouflaged magnifying glass! Excellent!

It's is a bit tricky to access the search facility on a smartphone. Try this. Click on the three dots to the right of the red box showing the number of new posts. Then select 'search forums'.

But using Gigi's probably more effective anyway ;).

Thanks @Loz . I often use google in preference to in website search engines but didn't know about the site: method.
