Kampa SabreLink awning lights

Does anyone have any experience of the Kampa SabreLink LED light strips? Specifically, I'm looking at them for my Kampa Cross Air awning. Any thoughts or advice on how best to trail the power cable to one of the 12v sockets in the van?

use the 12v socket near the sliding door .. but if sliding door in constant use, take power off from the rear boot 12v socket ... and you can close the door on the cable safely.
